Jakob Tomlinson

Director of Theatre & Performing Arts

Jakob Michael serves as the Director of Theatre & Performing Arts at Snider High School, where he leads the theatre program and creates meaningful artistic experiences for students both on and off the stage. His passion for the performing arts is rooted in the belief that theatre develops confidence, creativity, leadership, collaboration, and lifelong skills that extend far beyond the classroom.

In addition to his work in the arts, Jakob is a Retail Merchandising Supervisor with Mondelez International, supporting the Nabisco business across Northeast Indiana. His professional background includes leadership development, team management, operations, merchandising strategy, and organizational excellence; skills that complement his work in educational theatre and program administration.

At Snider, Jakob oversees theatre productions, technical direction, marketing and branding, production design, community engagement, and student leadership development. He is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where students can explore their talents, discover new passions, and grow as artists and individuals.

Jakob believes every student deserves a place to belong and strives to make the Snider Theatre & Performing Arts program a source of pride for the school and community.
